    Full-time remote

Over a million people use Sketch to transform their ideas into incredible products every day. Would you like to join us and help take this growing remote company to the next level? We’re looking for a Global Payroll Specialist to join our People Operations team.

Last year, we hired 56 new team members and doubled the size of our team — and our ambitions don’t stop there. Along with introducing new processes, and helping our people stay focused and passionate, we’re continuing to hire across the business. This means exciting new challenges for people and payroll — and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for someone who wants to take their payroll and processes skills to an international level in a fully remote company. This is a great opportunity to foster relationships with various internal stakeholders and perform a variety of payroll functions including project management, reporting and analytics, communications, and compliance.

What you will do

  • Coordinate with our international payroll providers to make sure we manage and process payroll within all regulatory, labor and tax guidelines.
  • Review and analyze current payroll, benefits, and tax procedures in order to recommend changes to our policies, according to best practices
  • Keep up to date with employment law changes and requirements in countries where we have entities to make sure we stay compliant
  • Issue employment contracts and compile and maintain paper and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leave.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for escalations and various ad hoc requests from team members related to payroll and benefits.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records for deductions, taxes, garnishments, pension, etc in our HRIS (HiBob).
  • Make sure that we process new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates and special payroll runs in accurate and timely manner.

About you

  • 3+ years experience with international payroll requirements (ideally in the US and Europe).
  • You know and understand payroll best practices, payroll tax, legal, benefits administration and compliance.
  • You are detail-oriented, well organized, and able to efficiently prioritize tasks to get things done.
  • You can work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • You can collaborate and establish relationships across different teams within the company.
  • You are fluent in English.

Bonus points

  • You have experience in working in a remote organization (or are familiar with remote work cultures).
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced tech environment.

We care about your well-being and your professional success, so we offer you

  • A full-time opportunity with a flexible working schedule.
  • An International environment and working culture.
  • As many vacation days as you need.
  • Any training you need to develop in your job.
