What are the requirements for real-time collaboration?

In order to use real-time collaboration in Sketch, you will need:

  • Sketch version 71 or later.
  • A Sketch subscription, to invite others to your shared documents or an active Mac-only license, to be invited to collaborate on other people’s shared documents.
  • macOS Mojave (10.14.4) or later.
  • An active internet connection.

If connecting via VPN, you need to make sure certain domains are allowed on your system. Read more about Why does real-time collaboration not work with VPN?

Note: All shared documents will be stored securely on our own servers. Files that you intend to collaborate on cannot be hosted on a 3rd-party cloud service, nor stored locally on your own Mac.
