Can I use real-time collaboration in Sketch in my browser?

In short, no, real-time collaboration is not available in the browser.

Real-time collaboration is a feature of the Mac app itself, but you can use the browser for other parts of the collaborative process, such as viewing, commenting, inspecting and sharing your documents.

If you’re working on a document using real-time collaboration and you go offline, the Mac app will temporarily store the changes you make locally. When you get back online, the Mac app will send your changes to your shared Workspace and update the document for all Editors.

Keep in mind that to use real-time collaboration you’ll need access to the Mac app. If you are inviting external users, you’ll need an active Sketch subscription. If you are being invited you’ll need a subscription or active Mac-only license and Sketch Account. Also, to collaborate on a document that’s not yours, you’ll need to have editing permissions for that document.
