How do I create a Sketch Account?
Note: You don’t need to create a Sketch Account to access the License Admin. To access and use the License Admin, all you need is the email address linked to your license key.
A Sketch Account is individual and allows you to register the Mac app as long as it’s associated with a paid subscription or you’re an Editor in a Workspace.
You’ll need a Sketch Account if you’ve been invited to join a Workspace or would like a paid Workspace for yourself. Through the web app you can upload work you’ve created in the Mac app and share it with others. If you leave a shared Workspace, you will still have access to your My Drafts folder or personal Workspace and any files saved there.
Note: If you have been invited to join a Workspace, you’ll need to use the same email address as indicated in the invitation email. If you’ve created a Sketch Account with another email address, you’ll need to sign out of that account first.
Creating a Sketch Account
1. Head to sketch.com/signup and fill out the sign-up form. You’ll need to enter your full name, email address and choose a secure password.
2. Once you have entered your details and agreed to our Terms of Service, we’ll send you a verification email to confirm your account. Head to your email client and click the verification link in that email to continue.
If you’re interested in setting up a Workspace for yourself, please sign in to your Sketch Account and follow our guidelines on creating a Workspace.
If you were invited to join a Workspace, click Join on the email invite. We’ll take you to the Sketch Account creation page where you’ll need to click join Workspace — no need to create a Workspace.
