What are the differences between Editors, Viewers and Guests?
Editors can use the Mac app and upload designs to a Workspace including shared Workspaces. Viewers do not have access to the Mac app, but can view, inspect and comment on designs in the web app. You can add unlimited Viewers to your Workspace for free, and your bill is based on the number of Editor seats you have. It is possible to change the number of Editors at any time. Each Editor seat costs $99 (billed annually) or $9 (billed monthly).
Guests are users who you invite to specific documents in your Workspace. They’re not a member of your Workspace which means they can’t see every project, document or library.
Any Workspace member can invite Guests to a document by heading to Document Settings > Sharing in the web app, and allow Guest permissions to either view, inspect, or edit that document.
You can add Guests for free on your specific documents. Admins can view and remove Guests in the Workspace’s settings at any time. Read more about Guests in our documentation
Note: We’ll always charge for one Editor seat if you have an active Workspace, even if you are not using the seat. Guests’ permissions to edit a document aren’t the same as Editors’. Guests must be an Editor in another Workspace or have a license to use the Mac app to make changes.
