How do I delete a Color variable, Text Style or Layer Style?

You can easily delete, rename or organise your Text and Layer styles or Color Variables in the Mac app by switching to the Components View in the Mac app. Head to View > Components in the menu, or use the keyboard shortcut Control+2.

In the Components View you’ll see four tabs across the top, representing your different Component types: Symbols, Text, Layers and Colors. Select the tab you want and you’ll see a complete list of all the Components available in that document. Note: To edit Library Components, you will need to open the actual Library document itself.

From here you’ll be able to select Components, and if you want to get rid of any of them, simply press the backspace key to permanently delete them.
