Would you like to help us communicate and engage with a community of over one million designers? We’re looking for a full-time social media manager to join our Marketing team at Sketch.
Our online community is vast, engaged, and active, and you’ll be at the heart of it. You’ll not only respond, but guide conversations and start new ones. If you’re the kind of person who thrives on good conversation and interacting with communities, we want to hear from you.
You should be a creative and curious self-starter, with a love for design and a deep knowledge of the community and culture surrounding it.
This role will have a broad scope, so you’ll need to understand what goes into marketing, community management and customer support, as you’ll work closely with all three teams. It will be your job to speak and listen to the designers who use Sketch, as well as manage our image and presence in the wider online community.
We’re looking for someone experienced who can take the reins and work closely within the Marketing team to build social media strategies and campaigns around our existing goals.
You’ll need to be a keen content creator—gif making skills are required—and you should be able to write in a nuanced and engaging way, as well as adapt your language for specific contexts.
Our team works remotely and communicates mostly using text, so you will need to have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and be comfortable working in a remote position.
