No. The MCP server is built into the Mac app, and every subscription and Mac-only license includes it at no extra cost. There are no AI credits to buy, no higher tier to unlock, and no add-ons.
You connect the AI client you already use, like Claude, Codex or Cursor. If that client charges for usage, your AI provider bills you for it, not us.
The MCP server runs locally on your Mac and only works with Sketch downloaded from our website. It isn’t available in the Mac App Store version.
