Before you send your bug report…

We read all bug reports and try our best to reproduce them. The more information you include to help us do that, the better!

To see if your bug is related to a third-party plugin, you can temporarily disable all plugins in the Mac app by launching in Safe Mode.
Sending us screenshots or screen recordings of your issue is a big help.
If the Mac app is crashing or slow to respond, sending us a Crash Log or Sample Process along with your report gives us valuable information to help fix your issue.

And don’t worry, all information you share with us is 100% confidential.

Anything in beta is a work in progress. While beta features should work fine in most cases, we still need to fix a few issues and resolve any bugs we find along the way. That’s why we need your help.

Details matter

When you submit a bug, try to include as many details as possible. Screenshots are great. Screen recordings are even better!

If the Mac app is crashing or slow, send us a Crash Log or Sample Process which — along with your bug report — gives us lots of useful information.

All your details are completely confidential, and we destroy any shared files after they’re analyzed.

If you have an expired Mac-only license (SK3), you can renew it at any time via the License Overview page.

If you have an expired Mac-only license, please follow these steps to unlink your license and switch to a subscription.
If you have an active Mac-only license, reach out to us confirming your license details so we can help you further.

Once you switch to a subscription, there is no need to use or renew your license key anymore. Instead, you should use the email and password to access Sketch.

If you have a Mac-only license (SK3), there is no option to invite or manage users by email, but you can review registered devices in your License Manager.

If you have a subscription (Workspace), ownership can transfer to another Admin within the Workspace. Please make sure the Admin role is assigned to the new Owner first before reaching out to our team.
If you have a Mac-only license (SK3), you may need to provide the details of your initial purchase. We cannot accept the Order ID or billing details of a renewal payment or additional seats.

If you have a subscription (Workspace), Editors can use their email and password to sign into the Mac app. Both Editors and Viewers can sign into the web app using their email and password at sketch.com/signin.
If you have a Mac-only license (SK3), you can register your device using the SK3 license key by following these steps. Only the License Manager can access the License Manager to manage the license account.

If you have a Mac-only license (SK3), there’s nothing to cancel or delete. Once your license expires, you can continue using the latest available version at the time of expiry.

If you have a subscription (Workspace), choosing a Yearly plan can save you money compared to a Monthly plan. See how you can switch to a yearly plan. If you want to switch from Yearly to Monthly plan, please contact our team.
If you have a Mac-only license (SK3), monthly option is not available. Licenses can only be purchased or renewed with a year worth of updates. You can switch to a subscription at any time should you need a different plan.

Sign in to the web app and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar — for example, sketch.com/workspace/your-workspace-id. You’ll find your Mac-only license key (SK3) in the License Manager.
