- Visit our release page and download a preferred version of the Mac app onto the device or download the latest one automatically.
- Once the download is completed, install the app by dragging the Sketch icon to the Applications folder.
- Launch the Mac app and click the Sign In… button. If you don’t have a Sketch account, click the Start Free 30-day Trial button to create one and enjoy Sketch free for 30 days.
- Enter your Email Address and Password combination and click on the Sign In button.
If you used Sketch with a Mac-only license before, you must unlink it. Launch the Mac app, head to Sketch > Settings from the menu bar, navigate to the Account tab, and select Unlink Device. Alternatively, access the License Manager and remove all devices using the Unlink option.
Note: You can also download the Mac app directly from the web app. Sign in to the web app, at the bottom of the left sidebar click on Help > Get Sketch for Mac.
If you need a new version of Sketch, Sign in to the Mac app and select Sketch > Check for Updates > Install Update from the menubar.
